Lauren and Evan

I'm excited to share some beautiful pictures by Fred Marcus Photography from Lauren and Evan's wedding at Blue Hill at Stone Barns. This has been one of my favorite venues to do a wedding and I think you will see why from the pictures.

Rustic and natural escort card table by the fantastic team at Cecily Grand Design. The escort cards are sitting in wooden boards with slats cut out and surrounded by moss.

High and low centerpieces added an extra element to the room.
Fun props for the Photo booth provided by MVS Studio.

Food Lovers Paradise at Stone Barns

BCE had a great wedding weekend with Evan and Lauren at Blue Hill at Stone Barns. The setting could not have been more beautiful for a perfect fall day.

The evening started out with a reception in the main restaurant with 10 passed hors d'oeuvres including parmesan pops, chorizo with lobster puffs & spiced lamb tenderloin on brioche with onion jam. Yum! The specialty cocktail was a "Stone barns bee's knees" made with their local honey.

A four course dinner followed, here is a peak at the menu:

1st course
Fall Fruits and Vegetables Salad
Greenhouse Greens and Herbs

2nd course
Stone Bass
Pistou of Early Fall Vegetables

3rd course
Grass Fed Lamb
Shelling beans, Vegetables, and Smoked Tomatoes

4th course
Chocolate Truffle Wedding Cake

Petits Fours + Coffee

Luckily with the help of Hank Lane guests were able to work it off through the night. As they left the Hayloft to go to the after party they were greeted with treats from Pie Corps including cake cops and pudding jars. Blue Hill provided Hot Apple Cider to wash it down.

It was a very special night and the Blue Hill team was outstanding. I hope BCE gets back there soon! More pictures to come from Evan and Lauren's wedding.

Audra and Will

Congratulations to Audra and Will! BCE had an exciting week battling the elements for a backyard wedding in Croton on the Hudson. The wedding prevailed and a great time was had by all. Find some getting ready photos below, more photos from photographer Diane Stredicke at Hudson River Photographer to come.

The tent goes up, hopefully will protect the grass from the coming rain.

Have to add a back up tent for the ceremony to connect to their beautiful pavilion. We ended up moving over to the side so the pavilion could be center stage.

Contemplating a floor ....

Hay instead! Kelly got into it!

Tats talks gifts: gift bags

Have you ever received a gift that is so beautiful that you don't want to even open it? My friend Tatiana Sotiriou is an amazing gift giver. Not only is the gift perfectly thought out but the packaging is impeccable. I thought, who better to ask to curate some gift giving ideas for Brides & Grooms? You can find more inspiration on her blog http://www.tete-a-tats.com/

Not another ballroom chair

There are so many choices for rental companies these days. The possibilities of props, furniture and china is endless. Check out some of the great items from two companies that I have been working with recently:
Victorian Seetee from Sassafras Vintage Rentals. So cool in a lounge area, pair this with their bar cart or vintages trunks.

Unique flatware and mixed vintage china from New England Country Rentals

I love this wine barrel bar and farmhouse tables, also from New England Country Rental. You can also use the barrels to create buffets or entrance pieces.

I'm excited to share some fantastic pictures by Tory Williams from Frank & Amanda's wedding weekend. The rehearsal dinner was held at New York City's Racquet and Tennis Club, the wedding reception was held in Westchester at Waccabuc Country Club followed by brunch at New York's National restaurant.
You can find more on Tory Williams blog, http://www.torywilliams.com/blog/?p=5758.

Tables at the rehearsal dinner, Designer Renny and Reed created beautiful
centerpieces to compliment the wedding theme but also incorporating a
beach theme for the Californian groom.

The Ceremony was held at Bedford's Historic St. Matthews Church

The reception tent at Waccabuc Country Club glows under the Chinese lanterns
from Spectrum Lighting.
The centerpieces designed by Cecily Grand at Grand Design Flowers added
pops of color to the tables with green and blue Hydrangea and amazing
David Austin Roses.

BCE behind the scenes at Frank & Amanda's wedding

BCE just finished a great weekend with Frank & Amanda in the NYC area. Here are a few of the behind the scenes photos I took from my phone. More to follow from photographer Tory Williams.

Tent goes up - looking good. I really like the tan asphalt - it looks like sisal.
Wine bottles corked and ready for the rehearsal dinner at the Racquet and Tennis Club in New York.

As we fall deeper into the clutches of January, the new spring line from Fleabags gives me hope that warmer weather isn't too far away. I love the entire collection but am immediately drawn to the nautical designs including the Original Flea Sailor Stripe and the Traveler's Clutch.

BCE Website Launches

I'm very excited to announce the launch of my website, www.brettcameronevents.com.

I could not have done it without the help of design duo Kyra and Rob Hartnett of Hartnett Studio. Not only do they have great style but a lot of patience.
